Camp Bournedale Educational Programming 

Camp Bournedale has long supported the curricular goals and objectives of the many schools who visit. The unparalleled opportunities for hands-on science, social studies, health, and physical education provide tangible learning experiences for every student, teacher and parent.

In the spring of 2002, Camp Bournedale was recognized for its many contributions to its guest schools systems. The Massachusetts State Office of Environmental Affairs awarded Camp Bournedale the Green Seal Certificate of High Honor  as well as the prestigious State of Massachusetts Senate's Secretary Award for Excellence in environmental education programming.

Dear Bournedale Staff,
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of you for making our week at Bournedale such a wonderful experience. I am sure you hear this quite often, but the impact your camp has on our students, lasts a lifetime. Our kids had such a great time and many really seems to understand the educational as well as recreational value of the week. I only wish that all our system's teachers could experience the camp to see first hand all the great activities and talented teachers that work at camp.
On the topic of your teachers, as an educator in the field of elementary education for the past ten years, I have to tell you how impressed I am each year with all of them. They do such a terrific job motivating the students, educating the students, and providing them with such wonderful opportunities. They are a credit to the field of education as well to the success of Camp Bournedale.
